Strong Will | Yellow Tea (黄茶)

A midseason picking from 2025, this yellow tea has a touch more life than a traditional yellow tea.

It comes from the same tribute tea garden as Imperial Tribute, on Huangshan in Anhui.

We named it Strong Will because this tea carries presence and gives vigour and life.

During our 2025 journey through China, we were offered a brew of these leaves that had been left to sit a touch too long. We could taste the promise beneath the tannins and asked to collect some to take with us.

As we travelled, we brewed the leaves and discovered that they simply needed more attention. When treated with care, they produce a beautiful tea that is nutty, creamy and fresh.

These leaves will age well but are also beautiful to drink straight away.

We are so glad that we were strong of will and collected these leaves, giving them a chance to shine.
