Pensive | Shou Pu’er (熟普洱)

A deeply reflective and meditative tea cake.

A true favourite, and often the leaves we share in group sits.

Plucked in 2018 in the vast mountains of the Lincang region in Yunnan, these beautiful, bold and balanced leaves have gone through an initial settling. Master Lee is ever so proud of these leaves and how time has smoothed their sharp edges.

We were first introduced to this tea in 2024 on our journey through the tea mountains. We took some with us on our trip and brewed it during moments of reflection.

We then restocked it on our 2025 journey because we had almost drunk and shared it all.

A beautiful, smooth, rich and balanced shou Pu’er with a deep umami character.

Perfect for dropping into thyself and taking time.

Each cake weighs 375 g.

Wrapped in recycled organic cotton paper, then draped in hemp fabric hand painted with tea brewed from the very leaves enclosed within.
