Master tea cup

Hand thrown by Rodrigo at the potters shed in Adelaide. 

A master tea cup is slightly larger, often uniquely crafted cup used during a Gongfu tea ceremony by the host or for solo tea sessions.

Each vessel holds between 130-150 ml of water. Perfect for a personal sit holding the full volume of a small teapot. 

Sandy earthen tones coat the tea cup inside and  out to allow the tea colour to still be visible.

I personally have a master cup from this build that I have on my tea table at all times.
