Named for their appearance, these tea buds are the first tips of the spring flush from 100 year old trees in Fengqing. Plucked in 2024, these fresh tips are still coated in fine hairs. When oxidised, they turn a bright golden colour, like wisps of fiery gold.
When brewed, a deep, malty and robust flavour emerges, with a mouth filling texture and a gentle sweetness throughout.
