Since 1999, these leaves have been resting and waiting. Grown and plucked on Wuliang Shan in Yunnan, they were stored to age.
As with all teas in the Distant shou Pu’er range, these leaves brew with a smooth, woody flavour, a full mouthfeel and an entrancing aroma. With its smooth and simple character, the Distant range is one of subtle settling.
We called the 1999 picking Distant Winds because the flavour and aroma change with each brew, building in depth as the aroma floats away.
