Bug Bitten Bundle Organic
Collected from the top reaches of the wild tea trees in northern Vietnam.
The leaves in these bundles, nibbled and naturally oxidized by bugs on trees are a blend of oolong, red and white style tea leaves.
Some more bruised and bitten than others but all large and full of life. We found these in a tea house on our hikes through the mountains in the north of Sapa, Vietnam.
Picked, bundled and dried in the shade these bunches are a way of savoring the splendor of wild trees and harnessing natures wondrous process of tree oxidization aided by bugs.
These leaves are subtly red in body while lightly earthy like a roasted oolong. If brewed slowly they are reminiscent of an aged white tea.
Each bundle is between 28 and 35g
