Regent Red | Red Tea (红茶)

A bold needle red tea, crafted with love by Master Lee in Fengqing, Yunnan.

When we hiked through these mountains and walked through the tea garden in 2024, we fell in love with this tea. A true red tea, fed only by high mountain rain and mist, these leaves hold a bold flavour backed by elegance.

Master Lee and Brother Huà often called the tea trees their children. They walked through the garden, hand pruning when needed, but more often than not simply appreciating.

These trees are at least 80 to 90 years old and thriving, growing taller and bolder each year.

We called this tea Regent Red because its long form stands tall, just like the trees themselves. Huà also insisted that we take this tea so that we could carry the honour onward, sharing in the bounty of the land.
