Verdure - Green Tea ( 绿茶 )

A vibrant green rolled by hand to form tight needles, sometimes called green needle tea. Grown and plucked in the southern mountains of Shanxi province in 2023.
We stored this tea for over a year to let it mellow as when we first brewed the leaves they were tannin forward and a bit too punchy. This allowed the leaves rest and the tannins mellow.  The natural  nutty and sweet notes come through from here to make a more balanced brew.
Still holding a strong tannic base this tea is perfect for the lovers of punchy Vibrant and forward tea.
The name Verdure comes from the unmistakable lush and green flavour.
